Making Flower Stained Stationary is a fun and physical activity which results in really pretty and unique stationary for kids to use.

We have so many flowers in our yard right now! I love them so much and I’m always trying to come up with fun activities to use them while they’re blooming. Here’s an activity that my kids really enjoyed. Predictably, my 4-year-old loved that he was allowed to hammer and smash flowers. And my 7-year-old loved writing a sweet note to her grandma on this stationary they created.

Nature Portraits

These Nature Portraits are a really fun way to make art with nature items! Your kids can get as creative as they want and they’ll love making these beautiful portraits!

You may have noticed that I love nature themed crafts by now 🙂 All I need is a piece of cardboard, a hot glue gun and some seasonal flowers and leaves and I’m all set 🙂 My favorite thing is when we’re finished making them and my son looks at me and says, “Momma, it’s beautiful!”. These Twig Letters are a fun and interactive way to teach little ones their letters and help them practice their fine motor skills too!

Heading back-to-school looks a lot different for many of us this year. Like a lot of other kids out there, mine will be participating in remote-learning this year. This is new, uncharted territory for us. But we’re going into it with open hearts and minds and we will do our best! I have total confidence in their excellent teachers, but I do want to supplement their curriculum with some fun nature-based crafts, especially for my preschooler. These Twig Letters are an excellent way to get young kids excited about learning their ABCs!

Nature Paper Dolls

Not only are these sweet Nature Paper Dolls beautifully decorated with natural materials, they are also really fun to create.

Did anyone else love paper dolls when they were little? I spent hours playing with paper dolls and they make up some of my favorite childhood memories, but no matter how hard I push them on her, my daughter just won’t show any interest in them. However, these sweet Nature Paper Dolls finally peaked her interested! She had so much fun with them, and I know other kids will too!

Fairy Boats

These Fairy Boats are easy to make and they will surely spark your child’s imagination and lead to hours of outdoor fun!

Okay, full disclosure: I’m a total sucker for anything miniature sized. I think I get more excited about arranging dollhouse and building fairy houses than my kids do! So, helping my kids make this tiny Fairy Boat was obviously no different, but I think everyone will have as much fun with it as I did! The entire process was fun – from collecting materials, to building it, to watching it float down a stream.
