These Halloween Rocks are a perfect craft for kids of all ages. These jack-o-lanterns, mummies, and monsters are super silly and they’ll get everyone in the Halloween spirit!

Halloween is a favorite holiday around here! My kids love anything and everything to do with Halloween and making these Halloween Rocks was no different. They had so much fun with this project. Just using rocks and yarn and googly eyes, you can create some pretty hilarious Halloween characters. Autumn Mandala Suncatcher

These Autumn Mandala Suncatchers are so pretty, you’ll never believe how quick and easy they are!

Autumn is in full swing around here! The trees around the neighborhood are turning gold and red and orange and their pretty leaves are falling everywhere. We can’t even make two steps out the front door without my kids stopping to collect a handful of leaves to show me. Yesterday, we decided to create a mandala using some leaves from our yard, and when I told my son it wasn’t a permanent creation, he was on the verge of tears. That’s when we decided to preserve our mandala so we could enjoy it for days and days to come!

Oak Owls

These Oak Owls are a sweet way to welcome fall and create some really cute nature art using materials that come from oak trees.

It’s only the end of September, but the leaves are already beginning to turn vibrant colors here in Santa Fe! We collected a bunch to make these adorable Oak Owls: a nature portrait made entirely of materials from oak trees and recycled items. Read on to hear how we created our owls.

Woodland Animal Masks

These cute Woodland Animal Masks combine a fun art project with lots of imaginary play. And it’s also a great way to say farewell to summer!

Usually this time of year, we take the kids to the Santa Fe Renaissance Fair. The kids love chatting with royalty, building fairy houses in fairy village, visiting the mermaid at the pond, catching a glimpse of the white unicorn tromping around, telling a joke to the troll at the bridge, and watching reenactments, but they especially love donning their their fairy wings and picking out their costumes. Sadly, it’s cancelled this year, because of the pandemic, but we still wanted to make a costume and play like we usually do. This year, we made these adorable woodland animal masks!
